Founded in 1994, Digitek has rooted itself in providing high quality software talents and an unwavering commitment to quality service delivery. These twin strengths enable us to smoothly adapt to the rapid evolution of technology while maintaining constant focus on the changing business needs of our clients.
 
Our beginnings stem from a focus on expertise in staff augmentation that has broadened over the course of time. Digitek Software, Inc. was officially incorporated in the state of Ohio. As a young company in early years we recognized we could serve our client better by extending staff augmentation services to help them manage projects.
   

 

In the year 1998 Digitek Software, Inc. also established the training and recruiting center in Bombay (Mumbai), India under the name Digitek Software. Based on growing demand in 1998 we also added an Offshore Development Center (ODC) in New Delhi to serve our US and Europe based clients for their outsourcing needs. Today Digitek Software in India provides a state-of-the-art software development center managed and populated by some of the best IT professionals. From this center Digitek has been providing off-shore development services for last seven years to our various clients such as Fiserv (NYSE:FISV) and Mindware.
 

During 1999 Digitek Software, Inc. also identified need to serve our local Government and private sector clients in India by providing complete turnkey project solutions including hardware, networking, customized software development, Implementation and support. For this purpose we established company called Digitek Consulting Services in India which has, up to date, executed several large size projects for Government of Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra, Indian Oil as well as for large private sector clients such as Citibank, ABN AMRO bank and Otis in India. Recently both these Indian companies have been merged into Digitek Software Private Limited.
 
For successfully integrating offshore capabilities into our service offerings, Digitek pioneered a global delivery model that is transparent, flexible and seamless. Onsite project managers work hand-in-hand with our clients to ensure the successful delivery of offsite and offshore projects.
 
By early 2000, we were able to address client's PeopleSoft, ERP talent requirements with highly qualified project management to accompany our staffing resources, thus orchestrating entire project.
 
Since 2000 Digitek is recognized as Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by State of Ohio . It also became Federal Government IT Services Provider under GSA Schedule. In year 2001 Digitek Software, Inc. was approved as a vendor by the State of Ohio under State Term Schedule (STS).
 
In recent years Digitek Software, Inc. has been recognized and selected as vendor by The Ohio State University, Education Department, Rehabilitation Services commission, Department of corrections – State of Ohio, Value city Furniture, Honda, Corporate One, Verizon Wireless, Pitney Bowes, Microsoft, Abott Labs and AT&T. Recently Digitek Software, Inc. has been selected as IT services vendor by State of Kansas and one of the Washington state University.
 

Digitek owes its continued success to tireless work of one of its pioneers, Mr. Satyen Shah (1966-2002). For almost a decade, Mr. Shah helped establish many new avenues and technological frontiers for the company. More significantly, he actively encouraged every project manager of the company take lead managing the client relationship. For him, the most important thing was to find a person with a deep sense of values, and then give him or her complete latitude to carry on with the job. He had a deep understanding and extensive professional experience in developing and delivering IT systems and solutions worldwide. Digitek remains grateful for his insight and leadership during the formative years of the company.
