| The client wanted to replace the old Vehicle Management System written in ADABAS with a Client/ Server System, in order to position it to be more flexible and react faster to its changing business environment. The new system provided crew vehicle maintenance scheduling, repair orders, budgeting, leasing, retirements, licensing, parts inventory, fuel tracking, warranty tracking, internal and external billing. Digitek's responsibility in this project was to provide analytical processing ability to the users. Digitek designed the logical model of the system and created Business Objects Universe to facilitate reporting. |
