| Digitek helped this client to introduce a new, .NET framework application to replace an older application. The client sells its huge products line through its large distributor chain. The distributors use a client–software to prepare an order and send the order request through dial-up modems. The new application is easier to maintain and distribute. Digitek developed a Windows application .NET technology (Visual Basic.NET). The presentation layer is developed using 3rd party library for a very user-friendly interaction. The application consumes server side web services. XML is used for transferring data between the application and web services. The application uses ADO.NET to work with MS-Access database. |
